During our consultation, we will assess your health condition and inform you about the course of treatment, as well as any medications that preclude treatment.
Our qualified laser specialist performs the treatment, which involves surveying the area and drawing the line of the veins to be treated using a vein scanner. After applying the treatment gel, it emits laser pulses that follow the lines of the blood vessels, causing the vessel walls to contract due to the high temperature effect. To achieve the best results, the laser should be passed over the blood vessel surface several times from different angles. During the laser treatment, you may feel a slight tingling or warm sensation. Following the treatment, the circumference of the blood vessels gradually decreases for about a month, and the dead vascular tissue eventually leaves the body. Immediately following the treatment, we apply a soothing cream to the treated area and cool it, which you can do at home for 5-6 days. Following the treatment, you may experience skin redness or edema. When treating a larger vascular network, compression socks or stockings are also recommended after the procedure. Temporary redness lasts for a maximum of 24 hours; however, the treated vascular network may appear darker for up to 48 hours, which is normal. It is not advised to use a sauna or solarium for several weeks following the treatment.
