Over time, all of our skin loses its elasticity and radiance. With sun damage, we develop deepening wrinkles, pigment spots, under-eye circles, acne scars, and stretch marks.

With the Alma Hybrid treatment, you can easily get back your skin's youthful appearance! The unique procedure combines CO2 and Erbium- Glass 1570 nm laser light. CO2 specifically addresses superficial problems (wrinkles, scars) by exfoliating the skin's surface. Erbium- Glass 1570 nm laser light, on the other hand, without damaging the surface, creates micro-wounds in the deeper layers of the skin, creating an intense refreshing effect, enhancing skin tone, lifting, plumping, and refreshing the skin.

The even, controlled exfoliation of the epidermis is accompanied by simultaneous delivery of pixelated thermal energy targeting the deep layers, which combine to restructure the skin's texture.

For our older patients, the benefits of this treatment include skin rejuvenation, reduction of deeper wrinkles and skin sagging, and improvement of sun-damaged, blemished skin.

Before treatment, you should consult your aesthetic advisor about the desired result. The Alma Hybrid series of treatments can be used on any area of the body and can be combined with other treatments.

The procedure starts with cleansing and anesthesia of the skin. During the treatment, we adjust the size, depth, and density of the scan according to the patient's skin condition and problem, as well as the ratio of combining the two laser technologies.
The laser hits the area of skin to be treated point by point, micropixel by micropixel. A CO2 laser focused at the points inflicts a tiny wound on the skin, vaporizing microscopic columns. The Erbium-Glass thermal effect boosts collagen and elastic fiber production, while healing and new skin resurfacing are triggered along microscopic wounds.

Thanks to the micro-pixels, the whole process - wound healing and skin regeneration - is faster than with traditional laser treatments, and although improvements are seen relatively quickly, the whole process is completed in approximately 2-3 months and the effects can last for years.

Depending on the skin problem and the strength of the settings, healing can take 3-5 days or 7-14 days for more intense treatments. During exfoliation, the treated skin area develops redness, edema, burning sensation, pain, and itching. This is not a side effect, it is part of the treatment. To reduce the burning sensation, the use of ice gel is recommended. We recommend 2-3 sessions to achieve a more spectacular result, with a 6-8 week rest period between each treatment.

Aftercare

We recommend the use of a skin soothing cream or antibiotic cream for 24-48 hours after the treatment, depending on the intensity of the treatment.
Initially, the regenerating skin will be pink, gradually fading to a normal skin color, which may take 1-2 weeks. Due to the marked photosensitizing effect of the treatment, we recommend avoiding tanning beds and natural sunlight and prescribing the use of a high-factor sunscreen. For greater safety, Alma Hybrid laser treatments are only performed from autumn to spring.

For one week after the treatment, we do not recommend sports activities and wellness activities with increased sweating. Blushing cannot be corrected with make-up for 48 hours after the treatment, after which use a moisturizing, soothing cream before applying concealer or foundation.
