Frequently Asked Questions

BREAST SURGERY AND GYNECOMASTIA

How do you pick a plastic surgeon?

Once you have decided to pursue plastic surgery, you must select a plastic surgeon and an institute based not only on price, but also on reliability, expertise, and several years/decades of references. Aesthetica Medical Center employs highly skilled plastic surgeons who are well-known in their respective fields. We put a special emphasis on training our doctors and nurses, so you can be confident that you'll be in good hands. Aesthetica Medical Center received ISO 9001 certification in February 2008, demonstrating its commitment to providing high-quality aesthetic services.

When can I have breast surgery or gynecomastia (male breast reduction)?

Breast surgery is only available to people over the age of 18. This age limit is significant because your organization is still undergoing significant hormonal changes, and your breasts have not yet reached their final size and shape.

How long do I have to wait after the initial consultation for breast surgery or gynecomastia (male breast reduction)?

The intervention could happen within 2 to 3 weeks of the consultation. If your plastic surgeon determines that there are no obstacles to the intervention based on the results of the required examinations, the surgery will be scheduled for the earliest date that is convenient for you.

What medical conditions might preclude breast surgery or gynecomastia (male breast reduction)?

Several tests will be required before breast surgery and gynecomastia.

If your plastic surgeon sees pathologic laboratory values based on the medical findings, he may refuse the surgery. Pregnancy and breastfeeding are also excluded for women.

What should I do to get ready for breast surgery or gynecomastia (male breast reduction)?

Your plastic surgeon will provide you with detailed information about the preparations needed before breast surgery or gynecomastia, including diet, vitamins, and smoking cessation instructions.

Is it possible to have multiple types of breast surgeries performed at the same time?

Of course, breast surgeries can be combined, allowing you to perform multiple types of breast operations during a single procedure. Breast augmentation, asymmetry correction, and nipple correction, for example, are all options.

Is breast surgery and gynecomastia (male breast reduction) done with general or local anesthesia?

The majority of plastic surgery procedures, including breast surgery and gynecomastia, are performed under general anesthesia. Before the operation, our anesthesiologist expert will inquire about your previous illnesses and, if any, medical treatments.

How long must I stay in the hospital?

After the surgery, you will be required to stay in the hospital for one night. This time will be spent in a well-equipped, air-conditioned, comfortable room with a bathroom.

Will I be able to breastfeed after having breast surgery?

Breast augmentation does not affect breastfeeding ability because no milk ducts are transected when implants are inserted.

However, part of the glandular tissues is removed during the breast reduction procedure. Furthermore, this breast surgery may affect the milk ducts; however, this does not imply a loss of breastfeeding abilities. When you do not intend to have more children, we usually recommend that breast reduction surgery be performed after breastfeeding.

How soon after giving birth can I have breast surgery?

It is critical to wait 6 months after you stop breastfeeding for the hormonal changes to settle and for the breasts to regain their final shape after childbirth and breastfeeding.

How noticeable will scars be following gynecomastia (male breast reduction) or breast surgery?

Because of the nature of gynecomastia (male breast reduction), the scars heal almost completely. Scars from breast surgery are permanent, but they fade over time.

Your endowments have a large influence on the rate of recovery, and you can do a lot to help your scars heal nicely (e.g. after wound healing, use special creams that promote the healing of the scars, and if you have used to smoke, stop smoking). After breast surgery, you should avoid direct sunlight; if you go to a solarium, cover the scars! Your skin will thank you for taking care of it!

How long will it take for me to see the final results of breast surgery or gynecomastia (male breast reduction)?

The rate of recovery will differ from person to person. However, the surgery's results are not immediately visible; you will see the final results in 2 to 4 months.

Will I experience discomfort following breast surgery or gynecomastia (male breast reduction)? If I do, how long will it take?

Though pain tolerance varies from person to person, you will experience more intense local pains in the first 2 to 3 days after breast surgery. However, common painkillers can effectively control this pain. The pain virtually disappears after the first week following breast surgery or gynecomastia, but the affected area remains sensitive for a few weeks.

When can I go back to work?

You will need to wear a compression bandage or a special bra for a few weeks after gynecomastia (male breast reduction) or breast surgery. If you work in an office, you should be able to return to work within 1 to 2 weeks of the intervention. It is recommended that you stay at home for at least two weeks if your job requires physical labor.

How long does it take to recover from breast surgery or gynecomastia (male breast reduction)?

The rate of recovery will differ from person to person. Following gynecomastia, you will be required to wear a compression bandage for a few weeks. The final results will be available by the end of the second month.

Sutures are removed on the 10th to 14th day after breast surgery, but you must continue to wear the sports bra for 5 weeks to ensure that your breasts are fixed in the position prepared during the operation. However, while daily activities are permitted and encouraged, it is critical that you gradually return to your previous pace of life.

When can I resume sports following breast surgery or gynecomastia (male breast reduction)?

Everyday activities are permitted, but for one month following breast surgery or gynecomastia, you must treat the affected body part gently. For at least 5 to 6 weeks, avoid heavy strain and physical work. Sports activities are not recommended for breast surgery patients until the end of the sixth week after surgery, and even then, you must wear a special bra.

When should I return for a follow-up examination after the intervention?

The sutures are removed after the intervention on the 7th to 10th day after gynecomastia or the 10th to 14th day after breast surgery. Following the procedure, your plastic surgeon will determine how frequently you will need to return for follow-up examinations. In general, follow-up exams are performed on the first, second, and fourth weeks, as well as the third, sixth, and eighth months after breast surgery.

Is breast surgery associated with an increased risk of breast cancer?

So far, no scientific studies have confirmed that breast surgery increases the risks of breast cancer. Indeed, after the plastic surgery intervention, you are regularly followed up on and have more frequent tests, so all risk factors are minimized.

Could my weight affect the outcome of breast surgery or gynecomastia (male breast reduction)?

If you are significantly overweight, your post-surgical scars will not heal properly. However, as a result of significant weight loss following breast surgery, the breast will no longer have the same shape as before the surgery. To achieve the best results, get rid of excess weight before the operation if possible, and try to maintain the achieved bodyweight afterward.

Can I have breast surgery if I have a benign tumor?

The size and type of a benign tumor determine whether or not it impedes breast surgery. Your plastic surgeon will provide you with detailed information about this during your face-to-face consultation.

Is it possible to have breast surgery or gynecomastia (male breast reduction) performed during the summer?

The months of autumn and spring are the best for plastic surgery because wearing a special bra or a compression bandage on hot summer days can cause discomfort, and sweat can prevent wounds from healing quickly. Breast surgery or gynecomastia can be performed at any time of year if proper precautions are taken.

PLASTIC SURGERY

When can a person apply for plastic surgery?

Plastic surgery interventions can generally be performed on people over the age of 18. This age limit is significant because there are still significant hormonal changes occurring in your organization at this age, and the final size and shape of e.g. the breasts have not yet developed.

On the other hand, if you are under the age of 18, you may apply for ear surgery, but parental consent is required.

There are some recommended age limits, such as facial reconstruction after the age of 40, but this is largely dependent on individual characteristics. There are several cases where younger people develop sagging skin on their neck or face. In these cases, facial reconstruction may be justified at a younger age.

How long will I have to wait for plastic surgery after the initial consultation?

Plastic surgery could take place 2 to 3 weeks after the consultation. If your plastic surgeon determines that there are no obstacles to the intervention based on the results of the required examinations, the plastic surgery will be scheduled for the earliest date that is convenient for you.

Is it possible to have multiple plastic surgeries performed concurrently?

The performance of combined plastic surgeries is dependent on the patient's individual conditions and health status. As a result, it can only be determined during the face-to-face consultation with your plastic surgeon.

When is the best time to have plastic surgery?

The months of autumn and spring are the best for plastic surgery because wearing a special bra, mask, or compression bandage on hot summer days can cause discomfort, and sweat can prevent wounds from healing quickly. Nonetheless, with proper precautions, plastic surgery intervention can be performed at any time of year.

What are the exclusion criteria for plastic surgery interventions?

You will have to undergo a series of tests prior to having plastic surgery. If your plastic surgeon sees pathologic laboratory values based on the medical findings, he may refuse the plastic surgery intervention. Deep vein thrombosis and severe varicose vein problems are also exclusion factors. Plastic surgery is not permitted during pregnancy or breastfeeding.

What plastic surgery procedures are offered at Aesthetica Medical Center?

The following plastic surgeries can be performed at Aesthetica Medical Center:

  • Breast surgeries that result in more attractive breast shape and form (and male breasts) (breast reduction, breast augmentation, breast lift, male breast reduction);
  • Plastic surgery on specific areas of the face (facial reconstruction, otoplasty, rhinoplasty, blepharoplasty);
  • Sagging or apron belly correction (abdominoplasty);
  • Excess fat is suctioned locally (liposuction);
  • Correction of limb shape (upper arm lift, plastic surgery of the calf, thigh lift, buttock lift).

How long do you have to stay in the hospital after having plastic surgery?

If the plastic surgery was done under local anesthesia, you can go home with an attendant after a few hours of monitoring. You should avoid driving for two to three days. If the plastic surgery was performed under general anesthesia, you will need to spend the night in the hospital.

How long will I be out of work following the plastic surgery?

If you work in an office, you can return to work after 1 or 2 weeks after minor or major surgery, respectively. Nonetheless, in all cases, you must exercise extreme caution to avoid overexertion and to ensure adequate rest.

What are the dangers of plastic surgery?

Plastic surgery complications are extremely rare. Every year, thousands of patients undergo plastic surgery procedures with no complications and complete satisfaction with the results. However, it is important to understand that, like any surgical intervention, plastic surgery has risks. Postoperative bleeding, infection, inflammation, and keloid scar formation are all risk factors.

Is plastic surgery a painful procedure?

You will not feel any pain because the intervention is performed under general or local anesthesia (depending on the type of operation). However, following surgery, your affected body surface will become swollen, stretched, and bruised; as a result, you may experience stronger pain for the first 2 to 3 days, which can be well controlled with traditional pain relievers. Usually, by the time the sutures are removed, the pain has subsided completely.

How long must I wait to see the final results?

Your plastic surgeon will remove the compression bandage after one week, and the sutures will be removed after 7 to 14 days. The desired results are usually visible 6 weeks after the plastic surgery interventions.

When will the sutures be removed?

The sutures will be removed by your plastic surgeon between the 7th and 14th day following the plastic surgery intervention.

When do I need to return for a check-up after the plastic surgery?

Following the plastic surgery, your plastic surgeon will determine how frequently you will need to return for follow-up examinations. In general, follow-up exams are scheduled for the first, second, and fourth weeks, as well as the third, sixth, and eighth months after the plastic surgery.

When can I resume sports after plastic surgery?

You must refrain from physical work and strain for one month following the plastic surgery, so please avoid sports during this time. You should stay in bed and get plenty of rest.

What scars will be left behind after plastic surgery?

Your plastic surgeon will make the incisions in a hidden location, if applicable, to achieve the most aesthetic results, subject to surgical techniques. You can also do a lot to improve the appearance of your scars after having plastic surgery (e.g. protect the scar from direct, strong sunlight; once the wound is healed, use special creams that promote the healing of the scars; stop smoking).

In the case of rhinoplasty, there is also the option of using a closed technique. In this case, the incisions are concealed, and there are no visible scars. Open surgery is typically used to repair a nose that has been operated on several times (secondary nose surgery).

How long must I wear the compression bandage, compression pants, compression garment, or face/ear band?

For 4 to 6 weeks, you must wear the applied special compression bandage/garment/trousers.

After face reconstruction and otoplasty, you must wear the band for at least one week and the ear band for several weeks, including at night.

How soon after giving birth can I have plastic surgery?

It is critical to wait 6 months after you stop breastfeeding to allow the hormonal changes to settle.

How long after an abdominoplasty can I have another child?

It is best to wait about a year after abdominoplasty before having a baby. However, you should be aware that the skin stretches during pregnancy, so another operation may be required after the childbirth. As a result, abdominoplasty is recommended for times when you do not want to have any more children.

Is it possible for liposuction to introduce body fat into the bloodstream?

The aforementioned complication occurs very rarely during liposuction, occurring in less than 1% of operations. With vibration assisted enhanced liposuction, the risk of damaging blood vessels is reduced, as is blood loss and post-operative strain.

Is the 2-liter limit for liposuction applied to the entire body or to each body part?

A total of 2 liters of fat can be removed during a single liposuction procedure.

PERMANENT LASER HAIR REMOVAL

Is laser hair removal risky?

Laser hair removal is one of the most common cosmetic and aesthetic procedures. It is completely safe and has no known side effects.

When can laser hair removal be performed?

The treatment requires parental consent for children under the age of 18. At the same time, if you are still under the age of 18, we recommend that you get a test done before beginning laser hair removal treatment to rule out the presence of hair growth due to hormonal disorders.

Which areas of the body can be treated with laser hair removal?

Essentially, the entire body's surface. Permanent hair removal of body parts such as the chest, face, arms, and rear end for women, in addition to the traditional areas (armpit, bikini line, feet). Males' most commonly treated body parts include the chest, back, face, and scruff. However, the brows are never treated because it jeopardizes the integrity of the eyes (though the area between the eyebrows can be treated).

What are the reasons that prevent the use of permanent laser hair removal?

It may be an excluding factor if you have fair, gray, red, or blond hairs, as laser technology, due to its mechanism, only works effectively on the combination of dark hair/light skin. If the hair is mixed (meaning there are also dark hairs), it may still be worthwhile to begin permanent hair removal, as treating only the dark hairs can result in a more aesthetic appearance. Hair removal is not permitted while suffering from an active skin disease, pregnancy, or breastfeeding.

Is it possible to have permanent laser hair removal if you have a keloid predisposition?

Yes, if you are predisposed to keloid formation, laser hair removal can be performed. However, scar formation after folliculitis is more likely in this case. That is why, before beginning the series of laser treatments, we perform a test treatment to see how your skin reacts to the laser.

Is laser hair removal possible if the hair growth was caused by a hormonal imbalance?

Permanent hair removal can also be done if you have a hormonal imbalance. However, there is a risk of minimal hair growth after the treatment, whereas healthy patients will only have vellus-type hair growing in the laser-treated area. As a result, it is advised that you first address your hormonal issues before proceeding with permanent hair removal.

What does vellus hair look like?

Vellus hairs are barely visible, unpigmented hairs that can be found on everyone's face. These cause no aesthetic problems and are only a few millimeters long, but in this sense, even smooth skin is not "completely" smooth.

Why, in contrast to other beauty clinics, do you use a diode laser instead of IPL for treatment at Aesthetica?

At Aesthetic Medical Center, we place a premium on employing cutting-edge technology in all fields. Diode laser hair removal is the most effective hair removal procedure currently in use around the world. That is why we chose diode laser technology over IPL (Intense Pulse Light) technology, which is widely used in Hungary. We use the LightSheer appliances developed by LUMENIS, the market leader in permanent laser hair removal, at our Medical Center. Our experiences show that we made the right decision, as we have several patients who previously tried IPL sets of treatments at other locations without success, but are now completely satisfied with the results that we achieved. The difference between diode laser and IPL is that the energy specifically targets and destroys the follicles. At the same time, with IPL, some energy is lost, and the treatment's effect may be temporary but never permanent.

Is permanent hair removal effective?

Laser beams destroy active hair follicles during the permanent hair removal process. However, because not all of our follicles are active at the same time, you will need to have several treatment sessions. The destroyed follicles do not produce any more pigmented, dark hairs, only soft, fine, unpigmented hairs that are not as disturbing aesthetically as dark hairs.

Is it painful to have permanent laser hair removal?

Laser hair removal is not without discomfort. The sensation varies from person to person and is largely determined by the patient's pain tolerance threshold, but for the majority of patients, the treatment causes only minor discomfort.

Is it permissible to use laser hair removal on a tattooed area?

No, it does not. Tattoos contain an excess of pigments, and because the laser beams are driven by pigments, the skin in that area would burn.

Is laser hair removal associated with an increased risk of skin cancer?

No scientific studies have found an increased risk of skin cancer from laser hair removal, as skin cancer develops most frequently from pigmented moles, not from laser contact with the skin.

Is there any effect of laser hair removal on moles?

In the course of improperly performed laser hair removal, moles may be burned, and the laser may "shoot into" moles, causing some hairs to grow out, which is harmful to the tissue of the mole. This is why, among other things, you should only have laser hair removal done in places where the staff performing the treatment has appropriate expertise and practice. Aesthetica Orvosi Központ employs only experts with medical qualifications to perform laser hair removal treatments, and they will only do so after obtaining the necessary practice. This way, our colleagues at our Center will know exactly how to direct the laser handpiece so that it does not harm the moles.

Is permanent hair removal an option for treating ingrown hairs?

Laser hair removal is a great solution for hair that is prone to ingrowing, as the hair treated this way will not grow again, and thus will not be able to cause problems by growing into the skin.

Are treatments available during the summer?

Laser hair removal is a series of treatments that should last 6 to 8 weeks between treatments. Sunbathing and solarium use are prohibited for one month before and after the treatment; thus, if you went on vacation to the seaside, summer is not the best time for laser hair removal. However, if the area to be treated will not be exposed to sunlight (e.g., armpit), you are welcome to attend the treatment in the summer.

What will the condition of my skin be after permanent laser hair removal?

The skin may turn red and sensitive immediately following laser hair removal. The redness usually goes away, but the sensitivity may last another day or two. As a result, our nurses advise you to avoid saunas and sports for 2 to 3 days following laser hair removal, as sweat may irritate the skin.

What is the largest area that laser hair removal can cover in a single session?

The density of the hair in the given area determines the area on which permanent hair removal can be performed within each session. Before beginning laser treatment, our nurses evaluate this in each individual case. A laser hair removal session should not last more than 1.5 hours.

How long should my hair be before going for laser hair removal?

It is critical to always shave the area to be treated freshly before attending a permanent hair removal session.

M22 TREATMENTS

How long after the ResurFX treatment will the skin's rejuvenation be spectacular?

Actually, the ResurFX treatment is a series of three treatments, with up to six recommended in some cases. The interval between two treatments should be 4 to 6 weeks.

The results of the first laser face rejuvenation treatment will be visible 3 to 4 months later, with the skin on your face smoother and toned, and the pores reduced. This is because the fibroblast process stimulated by the laser beams during the treatment has begun and increased collagen production in your skin.

How will my skin look the day after my ResurFX treatment? What will the sensation be like?

On the first day following face treatment, your face will be red and swollen in the morning, along with a burning and itching sensation. You should not be alarmed; this is a natural reaction and process, and the laser beams have reached the appropriate layers of your skin. It is recommended to apply a cold pack to the treated areas for 24 hours after the treatment, and in some cases, pain medication may be prescribed. Avoid touching, scratching, or squeezing your face. Use the moisturizer or face lotion that your doctor has recommended. Avoid taking hot baths, saunas, exercising, and getting a massage. Due to the unpleasant symptoms, do not schedule programs with large companies, photo shoots, or public appearances for 1 to 3 days after the face treatment, but you can resume your normal activities after 4 to 5 days. The treated area's improved light protection should last at least another month.

Are there any tattoos that cannot be removed with the M22 device?

Only dark blue or black tattoos can be effectively removed or reduced using the IPL handpiece of the M22 multiplatform equipment. Tattoos that are yellowish, reddish, or have colors that are similar to the skin's color cannot be removed. It is critical to understand that tattoo reduction and removal are heavily influenced by the quality and quantity of tattoo ink used, the depth to which it was introduced under the skin, and the technique used.

How long will it take for the exploded pigment particles to leave my body? How can I speed up this process?

In about 2 weeks, the exploded pigment particles of tattoos treated with the M22 multiplatform equipment will be eliminated from the body. The elimination time is largely determined by the quality and quantity of tattoo ink used, as well as the depth at which it was introduced beneath the skin and the technique used. Drinking a lot can help with elimination.

Which blood vessels on the feet should be treated with Nd-Yag?

Nd-Yag can effectively treat blood vessels smaller than 1 mm in diameter on the feet. Other interventions may be required for the treatment of thicker blood vessels.

How much time should pass after plastic surgery before M22 can be used to treat the scar?

Depending on the area of operation, the M22 appliance can be used to reduce or remove scars 3 to 6 weeks after the plastic surgery intervention. It is critical that the scar be dry, clean, and free of any reactions. Scar treatment can generally begin three weeks after a facial reconstruction surgery and six weeks after an abdominoplasty intervention.

If I have recurrent herpes, how should I prepare for the IPL face treatment?

Bring the problem to a personal facial aesthetics consultation. Telviran (an antivirus product) will be prescribed by your doctor as a prescription medication. You must begin taking the medication two days before the agreed-upon date of the IPL treatment and continue for three days afterward. If you have acute herpes, wait until it goes away before coming to a facial aesthetics consultation. If the herpes outbreak occurred while taking Telviran, the treatment cannot be continued.

What effect does light therapy have on a previous wrinkle-filling treatment? Will the injected material degrade?

It is recommended to schedule the light therapy treatment 6-8 months after the wrinkle filling treatments, as the IPL or laser light will shorten the fillers' effective period (due to the administered heat energy). Face rejuvenation should begin with the removal of skin imperfections and the improvement of skin quality, according to our facial aesthetics specialists. B.tox, lip, and face filling treatments are recommended after skin quality enhancement treatments using the M22 multiplatform equipment.

How many scar treatment sessions are there?

Prior to scar treatment, you will have a face-to-face consultation in which your aesthetic consultant will determine your skin type and you can tell us about your expectations for scar treatment. You will discuss your treatment plan based on these findings. We use the most recent skin renewal and IPL technology, the M22 multiplatform equipment manufactured by the US company Lumenis, to treat scars. IPL can be used to treat newly formed purple-reddish scars, while the skin renewing ResurFx handpiece of the M22 equipment can be used to treat old scars.

Scar treatment is typically a series of treatments lasting 3 to 6 sessions, depending on the skin type and scar type. A 4 to 6-week break is required between treatments.

When is the best time of year to have scar treatment with the ResurFX skin treating handpiece performed?

ResurFX scar treatment can be done at any time of year, but it is best to schedule it during the fall-winter-spring months because the surface of the skin to be treated should not be exposed to sunlight for 4 to 6 weeks before the treatment. In addition, the treated area must be protected from sunlight for at least one month following treatment, and high factor (50 SPF) suntan products must be used. Also, avoid using a solarium!

Can the M22 multiplatform equipment be used to treat liver spots that appeared during pregnancy or as a result of old age?

The Lumenis M22 multiplatform system cannot be used during pregnancy or breastfeeding, but you are welcome to a face-to-face consultation after that. During the consultation, your consultant will examine your skin, determine your skin type, and discuss possible treatment options with you. The IPL handpiece of the M22 equipment can effectively reduce or remove pigmented lesions and skin imperfections.

How many sessions are required for pigment spot removal using the Lumenis M22 IPL handpiece?

IPL skin treatments typically last 3 to 6 sessions and take 15 to 20 minutes depending on the area treated (entire face, neck, hand, or chest). We take at least 4 to 6 weeks off between treatment sessions.

What types of tattoos can be successfully removed or reduced?

Tattoo removal is possible with the M22 multiplatform equipment's Q-switched Nd-Yag handpiece. It is the best for reducing or removing dark-colored (black, dark blue) tattoos. The equipment "explodes" the ink that was applied to the skin layers, and the ink particles are removed from the body. Because red and yellow tattoos are so similar to natural skin color, they cannot be effectively treated.

FACE REJUVENATION AND FACIAL AESTHETICS

Which of the following should I choose: skin rejuvenation treatments, b.tox, or wrinkle filling?

Skin rejuvenating treatments, such as 4Step Skin Express Therapy, derma roller treatment, or medical deep skin hydration, are used to treat smaller wrinkles and improve the overall surface of the skin. The structure of the skin is improved as a result of these general face rejuvenation treatments, resulting in skin that is more youthful, tighter, and fresh.

B.tox treatment is an effective aid in the treatment of mimic wrinkles (e.g., on the forehead), whereas wrinkle filling smoothes the established, deep wrinkles (e.g. along with the nose). Lip filling, on the other hand, corrects lip asymmetry and makes the lips fuller and contoured.

Face rejuvenation treatments have different techniques and effects, but they can be combined based on the plastic surgeon's medical opinion. During your plastic surgery or dermatology consultation, you will be given recommendations for the treatments that are most appropriate for you.

Is it possible to apply non-surgical face rejuvenation treatments to the neck and décolleté?

4Step Skin Express Therapy and medical deep skin hydration are two skin rejuvenation treatments that can be used on the décolleté.

At what age do you recommend non-surgical face rejuvenation treatments?

Skin rejuvenation and wrinkle treatments should ideally be performed after the age of 30. At the initial consultation, your plastic surgeon will examine the condition of your face and skin, based on which he will recommend the procedure to achieve the desired results.

However, the derma roller treatment can be used successfully to remove acne scars and to correct minor skin imperfections at a younger age. The treatment stimulates collagen regeneration, resulting in youthful skin.

What active agents and fillers are used by the doctors at Aesthetica?

For wrinkle filling, lip filling, and medical deep skin hydration, absorbable, HA-based soft, easy-flowing gel fillers with a one-year impact. We use Allergan products at our Medical Center. We also perform fat grafting on a less frequent basis, where we use fat extracted from the buttock, abdomen, or hips to fill in wrinkles on the face.

A special rolling appliance is used for the derma roller treatment, which contains no active agents.

Aesthetica Medical Center received ISO 9001 certification in 2008, demonstrating its dedication to providing high-quality aesthetic services.

Will the results be visible immediately after the treatment?

Certain skin rejuvenating treatments have a continuous effect for a few hours or even weeks, whereas others (such as derma roller treatment) require 1 to 2 weeks to achieve visible results.

The results of wrinkle filling and lip filling are immediately visible. The treated area may become swollen after the treatment, but this swelling will subside within 24 hours. To ensure a perfect end result, avoid heavy articulation during this time.

Early b.tox results can be seen 1 to 3 days after treatment. However, approximately 10 days are required for the development of the final results.

Are non-surgical face rejuvenation treatments painful?

Local anesthesia is used prior to all face rejuvenation treatments to ensure that the procedure itself is as painless as possible.

What are the causes of exclusion? Are non-surgical face rejuvenation treatments painful?

Skin rejuvenation treatments and wrinkle filling shall not be performed in the presence of any active skin diseases or allergies to any of the materials used. Another reason for exclusion from derma roller treatment is a history of keloid formation, pregnancy, breastfeeding, or fruit acid peeling within 6 months of the treatment. Some treatments may be contraindicated when taking certain medications, such as Roaccutan or an anticoagulant agent. During your consultation for plastic surgery or dermatology, you will also discuss your health-related questions, indications, and contraindications.

Can I go to a solarium or sunbathe after the non-surgical face rejuvenation treatment?

You should not go to the solarium or sunbathe immediately after the treatment, but you should be able to do so one week later.

Following the 4Step Skin Express treatments, the skin should be protected from the sun for 2 weeks, and it is also recommended that a high-factor cream be used afterward (due to the fruit acid peeling the skin will be much more sensitive).

How long do the effects of non-surgical face rejuvenation treatments last?

Skin rejuvenation treatments typically have a two-month effect.

The effect of b.tox lasts 4-6 months (it becomes longer and longer lasting over time), whereas the effects of lip filling and HA wrinkle filling last 6 to 12 months, depending on the material used. After a certain amount of time, your filler will be completely absorbed, and your skin (or lip) will be as it was before the treatment.

In the case of fat grafting, the portion of the fat that has not been absorbed in the treated area after the intervention will remain in that area; thus, filling with your own fat provides a long-term solution to wrinkles.

Is there any downtime with non-surgical face rejuvenation?

You should not be concerned about allergic reactions because only skin-friendly or natural materials are applied to the skin. Some minor swelling and redness of the skin may occur, but this is only temporary. There may be sensitivity to lidocaine, but if this has happened before, it must be discussed with your doctor prior to treatment, in which case the treatment may be contraindicated.

Can I change my mind if I previously had a silicone-based wrinkle or lip filling and did not like the results?

Our doctors do not work with this material. Because silicon, unlike the other fillers, spreads throughout the organization and can only be removed in very special circumstances, scarring is to be expected. We recommend that you use an absorbent material instead.

Can lip filling make my lips less sensitive?

It will be a strange sensation for a few days after lip filling that your lips have become fuller. There will be no sensation loss; everything will remain as it was before the filling. It's just that your lips have become teasingly shaped and sensual!

DERMATOLOGY

What are the issues I can discuss with the dermatologists at Aesthetica Medical Center?

We provide a wide range of dermatology treatments and procedures in addition to traditional dermatology consulting. Mole screening, mole removal, wart removal, skin renewal, skin rejuvenation with derma roller treatment, treatment of rosacea, acne, scar correction, and treatment of fungal infections of the skin and nails are all options.

Can I rely on Aesthetica?

We follow the recommendations of the Hungarian Dermatological Society when performing treatments. At our Medical Center, we have highly experienced dermatologists (and plastic surgeons) who are well-known in their fields. We put a special emphasis on training our doctors and nurses, so you can be confident that you'll be in good hands. Aesthetica Medical Center received ISO 9001 certification in 2008, demonstrating its commitment to providing high-quality aesthetic services.

What should I look for if I examine my own skin?

At least twice a year, you should examine your entire body and see if there have been any noticeable changes in your skin since your last self-examination. If you notice any changes, see a dermatologist right away!

Why does Aesthetica photograph you during your dermatology consultation?

We photograph the moles for medical records; with the photographs, we will be able to track any changes in your skin problem.

Can dermatologists treat acne?

Mole Removal and Screening

When can I apply for a mole removal procedure?

We remove moles as early as childhood, but if the child is under the age of 18, parental consent is required.

What are the reasons why mole removal is not recommended?

The procedure must not be carried out during pregnancy, on active skin disease, or on inflamed skin.

Is it possible to have a mole removed solely for cosmetic purposes?

Of course, but in this case, a preliminary dermatology examination of the mole and a histologic examination after the excision are also required.

How long does it take to remove a mole?

A surgeon or a dermatologist is always used to remove a mole. The procedure is carried out under local anesthesia, and the excision of the mole takes approximately 10 minutes.

At Aesthetica, what procedure is used?

We remove the moles by resection with intact edges, as recommended by the Hungarian Dermatological Society, and a histologic examination is performed in each case.

What should I look for when I do a skin self-examination?

At least 2-3 times per week, you should examine your entire body to see if any of your moles have grown, if any have become darker, and if any have started peeling, bleeding, itching, or have become painful. If you notice any of these symptoms, see a dermatologist right away!

Why is a photograph of my mole being taken?

We photograph the treated mole for medical records. We will be able to track your mole's progress with the help of the image.
