Warts are common skin diseases that most usually appear in children and young adults in areas of the body that are frequently wounded. Minor skin injuries enhance the disease's growth because the HPV virus can get into the epidermal cells and, due to the impaired immune system, infect the epidermal cells, allowing them to divide more rapidly, resulting in the formation of a wart. As a result, it is critical to prevent it as soon as possible, because warts are not only uncomfortable but also harmful.

Consultation with an expert: Every person is unique, and our patients come to us for a variety of reasons. As a result, we always start with a discussion. During the dermatology consultation, our dermatologist will use a dermatoscope to thoroughly inspect the already established wart and its surrounds. Based on this, our dermatologist will recommend the treatment that is best suited to your skin's condition. You will discuss the expected outcomes of the procedure, as well as whether it is worthwhile to combine it with any additional face rejuvenation interventions.
Treatment with a customized technology:
- cutaneous solution application - cryotherapy
- electric appliance removal (cautery)
- surgical excision - The approach of administering cutaneous solutions is suitable for small warts, and it also plays an explicit role in pre-and post-treatment.
Deep-freezing or cryotherapy has the advantage of being safe, rapid, and painless, with no chance of scar formation. The wart is treated with liquid nitrogen during cryotherapy. There is no bleeding during therapy, and no dressing is normally required following the intervention. Depending on the size of the wart, it may need to be performed numerous times before healing occurs.
Removal of certain forms of warts with an electric appliance or cautery may be a rapid option. The electrocautery device is a high-frequency surgical cutter that is very useful for performing microsurgery procedures. The wart is removed after cleaning and local numbing, and a dressing is given to the wound. The treatment may cause little discomfort and bleeding. If you are using any anti-coagulant or aspirin-containing medicine, this treatment must be done with extreme caution.
If the dermatologist determines that neither cryotherapy nor cautery will be effective in eradicating the wart, you will be referred to a plastic surgeon, who will excise the skin lesion while you are under local anesthesia.
