Consultation with a plastic surgeon: Your plastic surgeon and an aesthetic consultant will be with you during the abdominoplasty surgery. During your initial appointment, you will discuss the expected outcomes of the surgery as well as if it is worthwhile to combine it with any other interventions.

Even feeble abdominal wall muscles can be rebuilt as needed, and the navel can be repositioned. Plastic surgeons may mix abdominoplasty (tummy tuck) with liposuction to achieve better outcomes. Following abdominoplasty, you will be hospitalized for 1 or 2 nights at the clinic, in a private setting with air-conditioned rooms and restrooms. If you work in an office, you can normally return to work after two weeks and then gradually return to your normal activities, including physical activities and sports.
