Consultation with a plastic surgeon: Your plastic surgeon and an aesthetic consultant will be with you during the liposuction procedure. During your initial appointment, you will discuss the expected outcomes of the surgery as well as the area or areas to be affected by liposuction.

Surgical procedure: Examinations prior to surgery are performed on-site; your cosmetic consultant will assist you in organizing appointments and preparing for surgery. At our private clinic in Buda, we conduct liposuction. Liposuction can be performed under general or local anesthetic in 1 to 1.5 hours, depending on the area affected and the amount of fat to be removed.

Because the invasion occurs through a tiny 5-mm incision, the scars are barely apparent to the naked eye. During plastic surgery intervention, the most recent liposuction procedure, known as PAL (Power Assisted Liposuction), is used, which makes the operation considerably softer and faster than the previous way. Depending on whether local or general anesthesia is used, you will be required to stay a few hours or one night in the hospital.

Following liposuction, you will be fitted with a modeling bandage and a special post-liposuction compression garment. You will select this garment with the assistance of the plastic surgeon prior to the surgery, and you will be required to wear it for a few weeks after the procedure. Because the treated area bruises after liposuction, regeneration will be aided by a specific lotion. Typically, no sign of liposuction may be detected after one or two weeks, but your recovery period will also depend on the size of the affected area. Although you could return to work in a few days, we urge that you stay at home and rest for a week, if feasible.
Although the effects of liposuction are immediately obvious, the complete result takes many months to mature. During this time, the treated area will regenerate and your body's final form will emerge.
