QUALITY
An experienced specialist removes skin lesions
In all cases, the removal of skin lesions is preceded by a surgical consultation, during which the surgeon examines the lesion and provides detailed information about the procedure. If the patient has a keloid tendency, consideration should be given to whether the lesion should be removed, as the wound may heal scarred.
The surgical excision of skin lesions is always performed under local anesthesia. After thorough disinfection, the plastic surgeon covers the affected area with a drape, from which only the lesion to be removed is visible.
Your surgeon will use a scalpel to make a laurel-leaf incision to remove the lesion and then close the affected area with sutures (double-layered for more sensitive areas).
After the procedure, you do not need to stay in the hospital and can go home immediately. You must keep the affected area away from water until the stitches are removed.
The outpatient removal of benign skin lesions is preceded by a surgical consultation, the fee for which is deducted from the price of the procedure if the excision is performed during the consultation. Depending on the type of skin lesion, a histopathological examination may be necessary, the cost of which is not included in the price of the procedure.
