Before the procedure, the doctor performing the threading will determine the type and amount of threads needed and then plan their optimal insertion points and directions.

Depending on the area of application and the purpose of the treatment, there are many different types and sizes of threads available, ranging from thin monofilaments to toothed threads combining several threads. To achieve a more powerful lifting effect, the most effective fibers are the so-called "fiber fibers". COGs, i.e. toothed fibers. The effectiveness of the COG fiber treatment can be further enhanced when used in combination with a thin-fiber facial lift to stimulate collagen synthesis.

Injection anesthesia is used before the fiber retraction, which takes on average half an hour to one hour, thus minimizing the discomfort caused by the treatment. The threads are inserted using a blunt-ended cannula, with several threads being inserted at a single entry point, reducing the invasiveness of the procedure.

After the threads are inserted, you will experience an immediate lifting effect and new collagen bundles are created by increasing collagen production, which will further enhance the results after the treatment.
